ABBY Awards and Event

Call for 2008 Nominations!

2008 marks the 10th anniversary of the Adaptive Business Leaders Organization's recognition of innovative providers and producers of medical devices and health IT that are dramatically reducing the cost of quality healthcare.  

In January, nine finalists (three in each category) will selected as finalists to present their innovative technology or approach to an audience of their peers on April 23rd.  And, just as prior CEO presenters have experienced, at least three individuals will walk away with an ABBY, and every finalist will have an opportunity to present to an audience of their peers, potential customers, and investors.

If you have or know a company that already has an approved product in the marketplace or is applying an innovative and proven approach to reducing the cost of quality healthcare while achieving quantifiable results, please nominate them for an ABBY. 

The ABBY Award categories are:

INNOVATIONS IN MEDICAL/BIO-TECHNOLOGY

Nominees and past winners include breakthroughs and transformative advances in medical devices, diagnostics, and therapeutics.

INNOVATIONS IN HEALTHCARE INFORMATION AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY

Recognition in prior years has gone to companies providing breakthroughs and transformative advances in healthcare information technology, telecommunications technology, and e-health solutions.

 INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO THE DELIVERY OF HEALTHCARE

Past ABBY Award winners have included organizations which are applying innovative systems and technology in actually providing care: in the hospital, home and specialty care facility;  operational "turnarounds"; and other innovative methods for reducing healthcare costs.
 

Nomination & Voting Rules
for the 2008 Innovations In Healthcare sm Awards & Events


1. All nominations must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, January 11, 2008!

 2. The company CEO or Division Head responsible for the Innovation, must approve the content of the Nomination form, and if selected, be available to present, in person, to the Innovations in HealthcareSM audience on April 23, 2008!

3. All nominated Companies or their nominated Divisions must have a product, service or application of technology that is already in the marketplace, or approach to the delivery of healthcare with proven “success metrics" that is contributing to lowering the cost of quality healthcare.

4. Previously nominated firms/divisions are encouraged to resubmit their nomination, as long as they have not previously won an ABBY or been an ABBY Finalist in the last two years List of Past Winners and Finalists            

5. All qualified nominations will be reviewed in January by ABL's Finalist Selection Committee.  Of these, nine will be chosen as finalists to present at the Awards Event.

6. Attendees who have viewed ALL of the presentations will participate in the voting for this year's winners based on the presentations presented.
