For
several years Dave Berkus, our “Mr. Trend,” has shared
with ABL Members – direct from CES – his insights into
which
technology trends are hottest. But, this year, in
keeping with the times, Dave is coupling his
observations of Top Trends, with his experience as a CEO
and investor, and will share why these
particular
trends will help the savvy entrepreneurs who apply them
survive – and thrive through - the Tough Times brought
on by the downshifting economy.
In the
past year, Dave has added “International Speaker” to his
litany of titles, which include: Chairman of five
technology companies, Board Member of five others; and
Past Chairman of Tech Coast Angels. With a portfolio of
67 technology company investments made in the past 15
years, Dave is considered among California's most
prolific angel investors. Dave was also named "Director
of the Year for Early Stage Businesses" by Forum for
Corporate Directors, and is an inductee in the
Hospitality industry “Hall of Fame,” and Chairman of the
ABL Technology Advisory Board.

Round Table discussions will follow Dave's presentation,
during which participants will discuss what they
anticipate the implications of these trends will be on
their own business strategies.
