In just 18 months since the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Health Reform has rocked the medical world. While some have stood by, frozen in place - awaiting a unicorn sighting, others have launched commercial ACOs, been certified as medical homes, merged with major health plans, created impressive numbers of demonstration projects, and are working actively with their clients to help them understand the ACA's new requirements and what they mean for employers, large and small.
In this special afternoon session, leaders from some of the West's most proactive providers and payers, will share with us what they're doing now to get the jump on the Healthcare Reformation anticipated in the months ahead.

As one of the few national health plans, Chris anticipates having to navigate both the federal and a maze of different state reformed insurance regulations in the months ahead. But through its complexity, he sees a definite upside - particularly for employers, and the patients themselves. |

The Good News for Employers & Patients: More Quality At Less Cost
|
| Most people in healthcare would agree that the runaway cost of American healthcare was unsustainable. But, it will be up to CMS to create the Rules & Regulations that will make Reform a reality - including Value-Based Purchasing Programs that, by their example, will influence the commercial plans as well. |

The Impact of Health Reform (So Far) on Today's Providers
|
| As the Chairman of the California Association of Physician Groups, frequent visitor to Washington, DC legislators, and leader of a Medical Group that began life as FHP's staff model, became publicly-traded, then acquired, emerged independent, and then merged with HealthCare Partners - Greater LA's largest independent med group, Keith is the quintessential adaptive business leader. He'll share how they're adapting now. |
