DocuSource Announces Acquisition of Document Control Solutions (DCS)

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif., Dec. 9, 2004 – Les Walker, CEO of DocuSource, announced today that the Company has acquired Document Control Solutions (DCS), a division of The Smead Manufacturing Company, a global manufacturer of office organizational products.

DocuSource, based in Santa Fe Springs and West Los Angeles, is one of the largest independent document management companies in California. In addition to electronic document management systems, the Company provides the latest technology in office equipment. Document Control Solutions, based in Fullerton, Calif., pioneered the integration of paper filing systems with electronic document management technologies.

The acquisition expands DocuSource’s product and service offerings, adding the Smead and Hyland Onbase software products, as well as added expertise in building a document management infrastructure.

MacWilliams, as well as members of his sales and technical team, have joined DocuSource as part of the acquisition arrangement, to ensure quality, consistency and service continuity. MacWilliams will serve as Senior Vice President.
