Announces Acquisition of Document Control Solutions (DCS) SANTA
FE SPRINGS, Calif., Dec. 9, 2004 – Les Walker, CEO of DocuSource,
announced today that the Company has acquired Document Control Solutions
(DCS), a division of The Smead Manufacturing Company, a global
manufacturer of office organizational products. DocuSource,
based in Santa Fe Springs and West Los Angeles, is one of the largest
independent document management companies in California. In addition to
electronic document management systems, the Company provides the latest
technology in office equipment. Document
Control Solutions, based in Fullerton, Calif., pioneered the integration
of paper filing systems with electronic document management
technologies. The
acquisition expands DocuSource’s product and service offerings, adding
the Smead and Hyland Onbase software products, as well as added
expertise in building a document management infrastructure. “Between
Document Control Solutions (DCS) and DocuSource, we have more than 20
years of proven experience in the document management industry, where
mass adoption by middle market companies is just beginning to take
