Telecare Signs Contract with Crossroads Behavioral Healthcare in North Carolina Telecare is happy to announce that a contract has been signed with Crossroads Behavioral Healthcare in Elkin, North Carolina, which provides mental health, developmental disability and substance abuse services to people in Iredell, Surry and Yadkin counties. Telecare will oversee the existing clinics in Mount Airy, Yadkinville, Statesville and Mooresville, and a new facility in Elkin. More than 100 professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, counselors, social workers and addiction specialists will become Telecare employees. Telecare was selected by Crossroads following a state-mandated system reform to expand community-based services. Crossroads has provided excellent services and has begun the transition toward recovery-focused services for the target population. Telecare will continue this transition process. It is hoped that the transition, excellent services, recovery-focus and treatment of a broader population will serve as a model for other area programs in the state. |
