Orqis Medical is a privately held, clinical stage medical device
company that is applying its discovery of a new hemodynamic principle to
improve the way congestive heart failure is treated.
The Product Manager is responsible for the development of product specific
marketing plans and execution of operational plans on a global basis. He/She
plans all aspects of product launches specific to a given product line and
coordinates all internal activities involved with products on the market as
well as new products to be launched.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing all necessary market research related to current and future
products, including market potential, product specifications, target pricing,
available reimbursement, clinical focus, etc.
* Developing marketing communication portfolio. Managing advertising agency,
promotional consultants, scientific meeting organizer and others to provide
materials for product launches and on-going promotions.
* Managing company participation in trade shows as well as conferences,
scientific sessions, symposia, sales visits, clinical procedures and
Investigator meetings both in the US and internationally.
Key attributes include ability to orchestrate multiple activities at once,
use resources effectively and efficiently, shift gears comfortably, be part
of a team unit and effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
Requires 3 - 5 years' experience in a medical device marketing capacity and
undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business; MBA highly desired.
