NDC Introduces New Automatic Profile Control Electronics For Extrusion Processes IRWINDALE,
CA, March 07, 2006 – (www.ndcinfrared.com) NDC Infrared Engineering
has just released a newly designed electronics package to control
auto-profile capable extrusion dies.
The new
hardware provides full backwards software compatibility with NDC’s
previous APC control cabinets, so that profile control upgrades can
easily be made to any legacy NDC system. The new controller uses
standard Opto-22 electronics with no special modifications.
Communications are made easy via RS-232, RS-422 or Ethernet, as
appropriate, to the NDC gauging system for complete flexibility.
The APC Box
is packaged in a standard cabinet that can house up to 128 bolts.
Packages are available to manage dies with 32, 48, 64, 96, or 128 die
bolts, and larger dies are easily accommodated by mounting a pair (or
more) of control boxes in tandem under a single controller. Using this
flexible expansion strategy, even the largest extrusion dies can be
accommodated and controlled.
NDC’s new
APC Control Cabinet is available immediately. |
