Also, 42% of individuals with HDHPs and 31% in CDHPs spent 5% or more of their income on out-of-pocket costs plus premiums in the past year, compared with 12% in comprehensive health plans. 35% of individuals in CDHPs and 31% in HDHPs reported delaying or avoiding care, compared with 17% of those in comprehensive health plans.
