San Francisco Healthcare Executives Round
Table
The
Exchange is Coming! |
|
Among the
most pivotal - and controversial - elements of the Affordable Care Act
are the Exchanges - one in every state. The California Health Benefit
Exchange will be the primary marketplace for individual and small
business health benefits in California, beginning in 2014. But long
before then, organizations will be determining how they'll be providing
coverage - or not - to their employees whose coverage will be mandated
under the ACA. While the Supreme Court may ultimately decide the fate of
the individual mandate, in the meantime, California's Exchange is
charging full steam ahead. And the products they plan to offer - and the
subsidies they plan to provide - will dramatically change California's
healthcare marketplace, forever. |

Bay Area Focus Workshop- Accountable Care Organizations: the
Vision, Reality & Beyond |
|
No doubt the hottest concept to emerge from the
Affordable Care Act is the "Accountable Care
Organization." But what does it mean?
And how are the major
providers responding to it? And what will be
the implications of ACOs for the "independents"?
These and other issues will be addressed by our
speakers during a stimulating "presentation,
discussion and exchange" of information.
And our speakers want to hear from you,
too, during this still "formative" period (after
all, CMS' ACOs won't roll out officially until
January 1, 2012). Indeed, like all ABL
sessions, we're looking forward to our Members
in the audience being
actively engaged throughout the entire Event! |
