The A3 form was developed at Toyota as a one-sheet-does-all tool for targeted decision making, problem-solving, strategy planning, new proposals, etc. The central concept is all the relevant information required to investigate, solve and document a situation is captured on a single sheet of A3 (11” x 17”) paper.
