Overview
Who We Are:
An Introduction to the ABL Organization
For over 25 years, The
Adaptive Business Leaders (ABL) Organization’s Chief Executive Round
Table programs have focused on assisting change-oriented leaders and
their organizations with the particular challenges of navigating
through the uncertain cross-currents of industries undergoing
unprecedented waves of change. ABL's Members (all of whom are CEO's,
Presidents or Division General Manager's with P&L responsibility)
represent billions in annual
revenues and are located throughout California and beyond.
With our Membership representing both the Healthcare (providers,
payers, and suppliers) and Technology industries, ABL convenes these
leaders in Round Table settings each month to share strategic and
operational information, insights and initiatives that help each
other grow successful companies. Using the other Members as a
knowledgeable, candid, and confidential sounding board, Members are
able to brainstorm, with the group, a range of innovative
alternatives and solutions to their most critical management issues.
Interspersed with discussions of their own significant business
concerns, Members rely on the Round Tables to get highly informed,
advance intelligence on -- and interpretation of -- topical
developments and issues in the commercial and financial marketplace.
ABL’s overall objective in all of this is to provide a powerful
service to executives who want to be sure that they, and their
companies, are well positioned for success both now and in the
future.
Candor and confidentiality characterize our sessions. This,
combined with Membership diversity and quality, Round Table
facilitation, and a blend of operational and strategic issues,
contributes to making ABL work. Our Members overwhelmingly find the
investment of time and money repaid many times over. Finally,
between sessions, Members stay in touch with the issues, trends, and
each other via our: ABL ONLINE (our bi-weekly Member News and
Trends summary publication), connecting with other Members within
their own Round Table and the Organization on an “off-line” basis,
and through our Focused Workshops’ and Networking Socials.
Focused Workshops are held throughout the year and at different
locations within the state. The Workshops add an extra dimension of
value to Round Table Membership, as they afford the Members an
expanded opportunity to get to know other ABL Members, while
participating in further-in-depth sessions on “cutting-edge” issues
of the day.
ABL enables our Member's to be:
- A part of an exclusive setting in which the Members serve as
confidential advisors to each other -- sharing "what's keeping
them up nights," and receiving real-time "no-ax-to-grind" peer
feedback on their toughest issues
- At the forefront of emerging trends - knowledgeable about
their associated opportunities and potential landmines
- Recipients AND Contributors to their fellow Members'
corporate, personal and career growth -- and vital connections to
assist them in each area.
